Develop education programs and materials for different members of our community that focus on the benefits of holistic and integrative wellness. Empower people of all ages to have a positive impact on their own wellbeing.

Support practitioners so that they may serve the community through a symbiotic relationship of holistic care. Create a system of support for the community, for the visitors, and for the practitioners.
Provide
Provide affordable access to complementary wellness modalities which honor the blurred boundaries between the mind, body, and spirit and which are not offered within traditional US hospital settings.
Ethos
We believe that each individual has agency to enact positive change via a ripple effect. We honor the power of cultivating wellness in one’s self — which benefits the local community — which in turn, betters us all.

The Community Well was founded as a desire to make a positive, sustainable, and attainable change in Rockbridge and Alleghany counties by providing affordable, integrative wellness for all its community members. Many of our projects are designed to use the Community Health Assessment Report as one leading guideline to effect change.
